Municipal policy for seniors in Nyon
Co-building the municipal policy for the seniors of Nyon in collaboration with the citizens themselves in order to ensure their strong commitment to its concrete implementation.
The challenge was to shift to a new paradigm where the public became actively involved in the design and deployment of the senior citizens roadmap, in close collaboration with public authorities and politicians.
Services
Design and facilitation of a collaborative approach in which the city’s entire senior population was invited to co-build and implement the municipal policy for the elderly.
Results
Thanks to this project, the senior citizen policy has been commuted into concrete actions across the city. Many citizen groups have been set up to keep the ball rolling, and they meet regularly, giving substance to the municipal policy for seniors. Four years later, the momentum is still strong and firmly rooted in the city of Nyon.
Project duration
Support over 4 months. The city then continued the initiative independently.
